The Humane Society of Warren County LOVES Volunteers!
Volunteering with animals is a rewarding, challenging and awesome activity, and there are dozens of ways to participate. To get started, you'll need to attend a volunteer orientation, which we hold once a month on Sundays. We will show you around the shelter, talk about safety, and explain to you the various needs for our amazing volunteers.
Whether you'd like to walk dogs and snuggle cats, help with laundry, help at the adoption desk, clean kennels, bring animals to adoption events, or even help us write grant proposals, we'll always be glad to see you. We've got a great atmosphere at the shelter, and welcome you to our little family.
